An elegant mid 19th Century design from the Small Drawing Room, Uppark in West Sussex, recreated after the devastating fire that destroyed so much of the house in 1989. The decision was made to reconstruct and restore to the appearance of the house the day before the fire, thus preserving the patina of age and use over the centuries. This lovely paper, although originally a deep crimson flock, had aged gently over the years and was reproduced in all its faded elegance. www.nationaltrust.org.uk>uppark-house-and-garden

This is a delicate and refined paper which suits both pale and subtle shades or stronger colours.

Ordering

Each of our bespoke wallpapers is a unique work of art and both samples and papers are handcrafted to order, using traditional materials and techniques, with great attention to both detail and quality.

Most of our damask designs can be made as hand blocked and / or flocked papers and many look even more spectacular with the addition of gold, copper or silver leaf.

Price depends on the choice of colour and finish and starts at £230 per linear metre.

Samples

Although small off cuts may be available as a general indication of style and quality, if you require a larger piece or a specific colour or finish each sample will be made individually.

Bespoke samples are £250 with free postage.

We are developing a range of digital options based on these beautiful designs. Currently these are available in ‘ pieces’ to fit the dimensions of your room @ c £110 per square metre.

We will soon be offering them in standard 10 metre rolls . These will retail at approx £380 per 10 metre roll.
