A remarkable block printed, stencilled and hand painted wallpaper dating to c1770. It was discovered at Gunsgreen House, Eyemouth, one of James Adams earliest commissions. Although technically similar to the Chinese export papers of the period, with rich carmine and delicate coloured glazes, it is a clever design based on Jacobean textiles.
Each wallpaper is a unique work of art and is handcrafted to order, with great attention to both detail and quality. It is available as a hand blocked damask or flock and also looks good with gold, copper or silver leaf . For custom colour or finish please contact us or send a sample for colour matching.
