Crimson Lace

30.00

A stunning c 1760-70 block printed and stencilled design. It was discovered at Gunsgreen House, Eyemouth, one of James Adams earliest commissions and the home of a famous tea merchant and smuggler of the time. This design and colour would have been the height of fashion at this period with rich carmine pigment and delicate coloured glazes although these had faded over time ( see sample )

Available as a hand painted and stencilled design or as a print . For custom colour or finish please contact us or send a sample for colour matching. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are happy to help you choose the appropriate colour and style, to suit both historic or contemporary interiors. To discover more, please click here
