An elegant mid 19th Century design from the Small Drawing Room, Uppark in West Sussex, recreated after the devastating fire that destroyed so much of the house in 1989. The decision was made to reconstruct and restore to the appearance of the house the day before the fire, thus preserving the patina of age and use over the centuries. This lovely paper, although originally a deep crimson flock, had aged gently over the years and was reproduced in all its faded elegance.
This is a delicate and refined paper which suits both pale and subtle shades or stronger colours.
