A magnificent High Victorian Gothic wallpaper based on a design discovered in the Midland Grand Hotel, St Pancras and recreated for the new owners under the guidance of English Heritage. This is a remarkable 19th century building designed by George Gilbert Scott and lavishly decorated with painted ceilings, walls and beautiful wallpaper.
This flamboyant design is printed, painted and hand stencilled on a 24 carat gold leaf background, but works just as well in more simple colour ways or on silver or copper leaf. It looks spectacular in candlelight as the light flickers on the lustrous ground
Each wallpaper is a unique work of art and is handcrafted to order, with great attention to both detail and quality. It is available as a hand blocked damask or flock and also looks good with gold, copper or silver leaf . For custom colour or finish please contact us or send a sample for colour matching. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are happy to advise on the appropriate colour and style, to suit both historic or contemporary interiors. To discover more, please click here
